Transformational OB/GYN or Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician leader

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine is actively seeking a transformational OB/GYN or Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician leader to guide the evolution of our Women’s Health services.

The ideal candidate will bring established expertise in obstetrics (preferably high-risk) and leadership and will utilize an inclusive approach to include our private practitioners, family medicine residents and faculty, midwives and students, with an emphasis on education across the entire care team.

Our modern facilities include a recently redesigned Women & Infants unit including 25 private patient rooms, six new labor and delivery rooms, and two new state-of-the-art obstetrics/gynecology surgical suites to complement the level of expertise found at our medical center, as well as a new Level III NICU with 29 private family suites.
