Experienced Emergency Medicine PA Opportunity in Bangor, Maine!

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Department PA to join a team of hospital employed staff (20 Physicians and 10 PA’s).  This is a tertiary care referral center that is a level 2 trauma center, a primary stroke center, and has hemodialysis, a robust oncology department, palliative care, pediatric sub-specialties, medical sub-specialties, surgical sub-specialties, PICU, NICU, ICU, and CCU support.  EMMC uses Cerner, Mmodal, Tigertext, and Vocera.  The ideal candidate will have completed an Emergency Medicine fellowship or has 2-3 years of EM experience.

The responsibilities of the Physician Assistant will vary, depending on the shift (some shifts focus on observation medicine while others focus on provider in triage).  On all shifts, the Physician Assistant will have the opportunity to primary care for patients while also co-managing other patients with the Emergency Medicine physician.
