Watch for the Upcoming Issue of Maine Medicine Arriving this Week

MMA members and practice managers should watch for the upcoming issue of Maine Medicine which will be mailed this week. Included as an insert is the registration material for MMA's 164th Annual Meeting in Bar Harbor Sept. 8-10, 2017

Maine Medicine is published four times per year and can contain up to six inserts promoting upcoming events. This issue also contains an update on the Association's work on the opioid legislation.  In addition to the insert regarding the Annual Session, there is also a four page brochure detailing the June 17th Conference on Professionalism being held in Portsmouth, N.H. The conference is sponsored by MMA, the Lown Institute and several additional medical, nursing and PA societies in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Keynote presenters include Thomas Bodenheimer, M.D., MPH and Eric Campbell, PhD. Five clinical ethicists from the Northern New England region also will be panelists. The discounted early bird registration is available through May 15.
