Monday, May 21 in Brewer: Next Steps in Addressing Maine's Opioid Crisis

 3-hour presentation from 5-8:30 pm at Jeff's Catering in Brewer.

 

Register Now   This 3-hour education session will feature an update on Maine opioid prescribing laws and rules as well as clinical content with a compassionate, patient-centered perspective.  The topics covered at this session will be:

  • Opioid Use Disorder and Medication Assisted Recovery: Caring for Our Communities
  • Alternative Treatments for Chronic Pain
  • Recent Legal Changes Affecting Opioid Prescribing in Maine
This MICIS presentation activity qualifies for a maximum of 3 CME credits of the 3 CME credit requirement for opioid medication education found in P.L.2015, Chapter 488, Maine's recent legislation to address the opioid drug crisis.
