Something to Consider: What About Sharpened Pencils?

One hundred and twenty-four years ago, November 23, 1897, John Lee Lee Love filed a patent for a hand-cranked pencil sharpener known as the “Love Sharpener,” significantly improving and simplifying the tool’s design.

Mr. Love spent his adult life working as a carpenter in Fall River, Massachusetts.
