Senate Vote on Brownback Auto Dealer Carveout Postponed

Editor's Note: "With the White House’s strong opposition to the Brownback amendment, senators still need to hear from dealers about the importance of dealer-assisted financing and how the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection would threaten the convenience and competition in auto lending that currently exists today," says David Regan, NADA vice president of legislative affairs. Since many senators will be in their home states over the weekend, NADA is urging dealers to contact or visit their lawmakers in the next few days.
