New Oversight of 'Swipe Fees' May Benefit Retailers

The Wall Street Reform bill passed by Congress and signed into law included a helpful provision for retailers, including dealers. The provision, championed by Senate Majority Whip Richard Durbin (D-Ill.), would establish federal oversight over interchange or “swipe fees” for debit card sales charged to retailers. (Read more)
