45 Million Vehicles Recalled from 2013-15 Haven't Been Fixed

About 40 percent of all vehicles recalled between 2013 and 2015 still haven’t been fixed, and that’s creating problems for drivers, dealers and automakers. The defects have not been remedied in more than 45 million vehicles that were the subject of safety recalls during those three years, J.D. Power said Monday. Nearly 109 million cars and trucks were recalled during that time period, the global marketing information services firm said.

Report: FCA Internal Report Finds Inflated Sales

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles discovered its sales were overstated by several thousand vehicles when it conducted an internal review last year, trade publication Automotive News reported on Monday, citing two unnamed sources at the automaker. Car owners who don’t like those options can pick a third that isn’t even part of the deal up for court approval Tuesday: drive their diesel Jettas, Beetles and Passats until the wheels come off.
