NAHU Released Three Press Statements

NAHU distributed three press releases in the last month. Our “NAHU Supports Tax Code Amendment Passed by House” press statement addressed legislation that will effectively change the federal tax code to define full-time employees from 30 hours to 40 hours as defined by PPACA’s employer shared responsibility provisions. Our “NAHU Supports Medicare Legislation Moved Through Congress” press statement supports Congress for passing bipartisan legislation that will avert drastic payment cuts to healthcare providers in the Medicare program. In the “NAHU Supports Proposed Senate Legislation to Increase Access to Agents, Brokers” press statement, NAHU applauds Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) for introducing two bipartisan proposals calling upon the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to make key changes to the federal exchange that will increase consumers’ access to professionally licensed insurance agents and brokers.

Agent-Finder Website Analytics Continues to Evolve

The “Agent-Finder” website statistics have increased significantly. The figures below indicate how the campaign numbers have nearly doubled in one week:

  • The ads were displayed 2,643,582 times, a remarkable 394,912 increase from March 20.
  • Consumers clicked on the ads 34,675 times, increasing by 5,672 in less than a week.
  • Conversions on the website were 23,514, which improved by 4,012. The rate is now 68%.
