Update on PPACA Challenges

The Eleventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta is scheduled to hear arguments on June 8 in a challenge to PPACA brought by Florida and joined by 25 other states, the National Federation of Independent Businesses and several individuals. This lawsuit is considered to be the most high profile of the more than two dozen challenges to the constitutionality of the new health reform law. Read More

PPACA Impact on Employer-Sponsored Coverage

McKinsey and Company has released a disturbing article projecting that 30% of employers will "definitely or probably" stop offering health insurance to employees in the years after 2014 and that more than 50% of companies with a high awareness of the health care law will stop offering employer-sponsored insurance and send employees to exchanges.  Read More
