Acting Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Marilyn Tavenner announced this past Friday that Gary Cohen will come back to the agency to serve as its Deputy Administrator and Director of the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO). CCIIO is the health reform implementation arm of CMS and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Exchange Blueprint/Meetings
If you don’t have a big red circle around the date on your calendar, November 16 is a big day for state officials and health reform. That’s the day Governors or state insurance commissioners or exchange heads need to submit their “exchange blueprint” to HHS.
