Who Wants to Help Consumers with Products in a Federally Facilitated or Partnership Exchange?

A recent poll of NAHU leaders indicated that three-quarters of our members plan to get certified to help consumers buy health insurance products through federally facilitated and partnership exchanges. If that means you, then today's your lucky day: CMS has finally released Part I of its agent and broker training on the exchange marketplace!... Read More

August Is Here! Will You Meet with Your Representative?

It is August, which means members of Congress are heading home for the next five weeks. Members of Congress have unofficially left Washington on “August Recess” since 1791. It wasn’t an official recess until 1970, when Congress passed the Legislative Reorganization Act, making it the only statutory congressional recess... Read More

Deductible Bill Dropped

The site includes a wizard tool that is tailored based on size and location, so businesses can learn how the law helps them provide affordable coverage options to their employees while still meeting their bottom line... Read More

“Navigators,” “assisters,” “non-navigator assistance personnel” and “certified application counselors” are terms that are constantly thrown around when discussing health reform implementation. While it might seem like they basically mean the same thing, they do in fact have different purposes in terms of health reform rollout. HHS has developed this fact sheet that breaks down the job functions of consumer assisters in the federally facilitated and partnership exchanges... Read More

What We’re Reading

We're on our way to the great white north for a long weekend on a lake and CMS guidance about income verification is one of the few things we didn't take with us. But we do have these links flagged for reading in our hammock and we hope you enjoy them too... Read More
