NAHU Member Scott Wham to Brief Congress on ACA’s Employer Reporting Requirements
Next Tuesday, Legislative Chair of the Greater Philadelphia Association of Health Underwriters and HUPAC Region II Vice President Scott Wham will brief Congress on the ACA’s individual and employer mandates, reporting requirements, and exchange and tax credit eligibility provisions. The briefing is hosted by the ACA Reporting Task Force, of which NAHU is a member, and will also feature remarks by Christine Pollack from the Retail Industry Leaders Association, AutoZone’s Director of Benefits Matthew Harmon, and Heather Meade and Sarah Egge from Washington Council Ernst & Young. The briefing is designed to inform congressional staffers about the many compliance concerns of employers, including how both large and small employers are impacted by the requirements and how much data must be reported, and how Congress can help employers through H.R. 2712, the Commonsense Reporting & Verification Act, of which NAHU is a strong supporter.
