Be Part of the Discussion on Reforming the ACA

NAHU's 27th Annual Capitol Conference, Changing the Benefits Landscape, NAHU’s Opportunity Has Arrived, is just four weeks away—February 13-15! Have you registered yet? If you attend, not only will you get to join hundreds of your colleagues in lobbying for changes just as Congress debates the future of health reform, but you will also get to hear exciting speakers like AHIP CEO Marilyn Tavenner, Dr. Aaron Carroll, Tim Clue and several members of Congress.

Other featured speakers are Senator Daschle and NAHU Past-President John Nelson on Wednesday, February 15, for A Discussion of the Past and Future of Bipartisan Healthcare Policy. We are excited to bring these two together for what is sure to be one of the most dynamic conversations held during Capitol Conference. Senator Daschle was instrumental in working across the aisle during negotiations to pass the ACA, and will share his insight on the challenges facing the current Congress. Mark your schedules and be sure to be in your seats Wednesday morning so you don’t miss out! Hill visits should be made for after noon on Wednesday, and all travel should be scheduled for after the conclusion of the program on Wednesday morning.

For more than 25 years, NAHU members have been coming to Washington, DC, to stand together and make their voices heard. This year, make sure your voice is among the crowd. Come join us for three days of expert health reform speakers, breakout sessions, lobbying visits with elected officials, the HUPAC bowling party and HUPAC Top of the Hill reception and as we help Congress make health insurance work for all Americans. If you haven’t registered, register today before prices increase another $50 on January 25.

Join the Vanguard Council and HUPAC on Sunday, February 12, from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. at Lucky Strike in downtown DC for an evening of bowling, drinks and appetizers. A $50 contribution to the HUPAC Administration Fund is required to attend, which will count toward your contribution level for the year. Attendance includes two drink tickets, appetizers and a game of bowling that includes bowling shoes. Click here to make your contribution today and reserve your spot on the alley.

NAHU launched a microsite that holds all of the details about Capitol Conference 2017. You will be able to "follow" this site to receive notifications when something new has been added, such as the keynote speakers, changes to the schedule and reminders about deadlines.
