Are You Ready for Open Enrollment?

All agents and brokers must complete the federal marketplace registration and training in order to assist consumers with enrollment through HealthCare.gov beginning on November 1. Agents and brokers who successfully completed plan year 2018 registration can only assist consumers through October 31, 2018, when plan year 2018 agreements expire. Agents and brokers must complete plan year 2019 registration and training to be able to assist consumers with 2018 coverage during November and December 2018, or to help consumers enroll for the first time or re-enroll in coverage for plan year 2019. To access resources for agents and brokers on working in the health insurance marketplace and the Small Business Health Options Program, visit CMS.gov.
