  • NAHU submitted comments to the House Energy and Commerce Committee in response to the bipartisan discussion draft of the No Surprises Act, which would provide consumer protections for surprise medical billing disputes.
  • The House and Senate are currently on their Memorial Day recess but are expected to introduce NAHU priority legislation on employer reporting and companion legislation treating COBRA as creditable coverage in June.
  • NAHU encourages you to set up meetings with your federal legislators during the summer recess, from July 27 through September 8, to share personal perspectives on how our federal priorities are impacting you and your clients.
