The ACA's legal woes have not gone away and the Administration's regulatory efforts to circumvent the law have been met with equal resistance in the courts. As rulings come out and challenges continue to make their way through the legal process, agents and brokers are in a need-to-know position to keep their clients informed and in compliance with the law. On Thursday, June 20 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern, NAHU Vice President of Government Affairs Marcy M. Buckner invites you to attend a special edition of the LIVE from NAHU webinar series titled “Maintaining Compliance Amidst Health Law’s Legal Challenges.”
This session of Live from NAHU will provide an overview of the ongoing legal challenges to the ACA and its regulatory reforms and how to stay in compliance as these challenges continue through the courts. This includes the Texas v. U.S. case challenging the constitutionality of the individual mandate and ACA, the AHP and short-term plan challenges, and others that are underway. And as the challenges are debated, the 2020 campaign season has gotten underway with proposals that could dramatically alter the American healthcare and health insurance system. As NAHU works to shape the debate and keep members and their clients in compliance, we're hosting Live from NAHU webinar sessions in June and November to help you stay informed.
Dozens of NAHU chapters will be hosting special chapter events to view this session in person. If you will attend a chapter event of the broadcast, you do not need to register for the webinar online. Continuing education credits may be available to members who attend these in-person live broadcasts. For more information, please reach out to your chapter to determine if it will be hosting an event. Please note that CE requirements vary from state to state.
We expect this to be a very popular session, so register now to ensure your place for the live broadcast. If there are several NAHU members in your office, we recommend that only one person register and that you have a "watch party" with your colleagues.
The session is limited to 1,000 participants. If you can't make it or it fills up, the session will be recorded and the slides and webinar recording will be posted online.
