If you managed to slog through our whole article last week on all of the regulatory guidance that has been issued lately, you will know that responses to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Draft Letter to Issuers was due this past Monday.

NAHU’s response, which concerns the timing of the QHP certification process and the proposed open enrollment dates for next year, the proposed small group size shift to 1-100 employees, network adequacy requirements and policy recommendations relative to agents and broker corporate names and website and also the redetermination process can be found here. We also forgot to link to our response to the proposed Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters for 2016, which was submitted back in December 2014, but here it is now in case you lost your Ambien. Next week we’ll have our response to the proposed rule on a new excepted benefit for wraparound coverage. If you have any thoughts on that one, please send them our way before January 21.
