NCCAOM Going to a Location Near You….

Keystone, Colorado

The NCCAOM staff and members of the Commission will be available firsthand to answer your questions and to support Diplomates at various activities at the 13th Annual AOMAlliance Conference and Expo at the Keyston Resort in Keystone Colorado from May 4 to May 7, 2006.

Please look for us at these various sponsored events:

¨      NCCAOM Exhibit Booth: We look forward to seeing you at our booth where you will receive materials and information with the latest updates on news that will be helpful to you.  Please stop by and pick up a free NCCAOM pen.  The exhibit booth will be open all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  

¨      NCCAOM will be hosting an Item (exam question) Writing Workshop on Thursday, May 4, 2006 from 8 am to 12 pm.  All Diplomates who participate receive 4 professional development activity (PDA) points, a free breakfast and a chance to be involved with the NCCAOM certification process.  If you live in the Colorado area or will be attending the conference and are interested in participating, please contact Mina Larson.

¨      All school liaisons are invited to attend the NCCAOM School Liaison Workshop that will be held Saturday, May 6 from 7:30 am. to 8:30 am.  This workshop will be helpful for school staff to get the latest on NCCAOM eligibility and testing information.  Please RSVP for this event by contacting Neema Khatri.  This event is only open to school representatives.   

 

¨      New NCCAOM Workshop: “How to Make the Most of Your Diplomate Certification”:  Join the NCCAOM staff as we explain the ins and outs of how to maximize your   NCCAOM Diplomate status.  Discussion topics will include how to promote your certification, different ways to handle the media, new changes in the NCCAOM Code of Ethics, and the results and goals from the 2005 NCCAOM customer satisfaction survey.  The workshop will be held on Saturday, May 7, from 2 pm to 6 pm at the AOMAlliance conference.
