NCCAOM 2006 Exam Update – Hot Off the Press!

Item Writing Workshops

We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from Diplomates across the country who came out to write questions at one of the fourteen different Item Writing Events.  We would like to express our gratitude to all of our Diplomates who participated in the nationwide NCCAOM Item Writing Events that took place between March 3 and April 10, 2006.  The event was kicked off on March 3rd at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York City where over 75 Diplomates participated in the workshop.  Laura Culver Edgar, Deputy Director of the NCCAOM conducted each event in fourteen different cities which included Albuquerque, Alexandria , Austin, Chicago, Dallas , Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City , Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego , San Francisco , and Seattle . All attendees at each event received 4 Professional Development Activity (PDA) Points equivalent to 4 CEUs. Our next item writing event will take place at the 13th Annual AOMAlliance Conference at the Keystone Colorado Resort on May 4 from 8 am to 12pm.  Please contact Mina Larson, if you are interested in participating.  We hope to see many of you there.  Thank you, again, for all of your support and dedication.
