For Our Applicants: Certification News You Can Use

Reminder to Our ABT Applicants

Applicants for certification in Asian Bodywork Therapy are required to complete at least 500 hours of entry-level Asian bodywork therapy education, and the 500 hours must include a minimum of 350 didactic hours, 160 of which specifically relate to ABT techniques. Didactic hours must also include Western anatomy, physiology, and Oriental medical theory as well as courses in First Aide, CPR, and ethics.  Applications are due by July 21, 2006, for the October 2006 exam administration. The October examination will be also be delivered by computer based testing through PearsonVUE.
