Professional Development Activity (PDA) Update: Our Newly Adopted Policy

NCCAOM has received inquires regarding the acceptance of programs such as Injection Therapy that were previously not approved by the NCCAOM PDA Provider Program.  The NCCAOM Board of Commissioners has approved the following policy:  If a continuing education program is clinical in nature and outside of the current scope of the NCCAOM certification program, and the program has been approved by a state licensure board for state licensure renewal, then it will be approved by NCCAOM as acceptable for PDA points for Diplomates in any state for which it is in their scope of practice in that state when it is submitted for NCCAOM review.  If you are interested in taking a course in injection therapy or any other program please make sure that the program has been reviewed and approved by NCCAOM for PDA points.  You will find a listing of all acceptable PDA programs on our website.
