NCCAOM Revises Its Code Of Ethics and Grounds For Professional Discipline
The NCCAOM Board of Commissioners approved revisions to the Code of Ethics and other disciplinary documents at the January 2006 Meeting. These documents are available on the NCCAOM website, www.nccaom.org. A copy of the new Code of Ethics, suitable for framing, will be published in the next issue of our newsletter, the Diplomate. NCCAOM Diplomates are encouraged to display the Code in their offices to familiarize their patients with the high standards under which NCCAOM Diplomates practice.
Diplomates, Candidates and Applicants agree to abide by NCCAOM’s ethical guidelines upon signing their applications for certification and recertification. We welcome your comments as you review the Code of Ethics and other related documents, in particular, the Grounds for Professional Discipline, the Procedures for Upholding Professional Conduct.
