Conveyor line and sealant applicator

Erdman Automation Corp., Princeton, Minn., introduced the Erdman commercial glass conveyor line and hand assist sealant applicator.

The conveyor line includes motor controls, sensors and feedback devices, and a range of nonmarking, nonstick belts and rollers. It can handle tough applications, and its conveying speeds range from 10 to 600 feet per minute, fixed or variable, according to a company release. Available options include 90-degree transfers, 180-degree in-line flip over, product diverters and product queuing stops. The hand assist sealant applicator can be used for curtain wall and interior glass partition applications.

A servo control system, it uses the company’s fluid metering technologies to provide a consistent diameter bead of sealant at speeds up to 30 inches per second, according to the release. The applicator performs hot, cold or two-part glazing and can be set up for bead sizes from 0.06-inch to 1-inch diameter. Custom models, configurations and sizes are available.
