NGA Announces 2016 Glazing Executive Forum Sponsors


NGA is pleased to announce YKK AP America as the Gold Sponsor and Ergo Robotic Solutions and Roto-Frank of America as the Silver Sponsors to date for the 11th Annual Glazing Executives Forum, taking place Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, in conjunction with GlassBuild America: The Glass, Window & Door Expo.
“We greatly appreciate our sponsors’ support of the Glazing Executives Forum and are extremely enthusiastic about this year’s program,” said Jenni Chase, NGA content director. “Building on 10 years of success, we are excited to debut a new twist on the event in Las Vegas that will allow for even more peer-to-peer discussion of best practices and industry issues.”  
The 2016 Glass Magazine Awards: Nomination Form
Glass Magazine, the official magazine of NGA, is now accepting nominations for the 2016 Glass Magazine Awards. The prestigious glass and metal industry awards program recognizes the most innovative products and services the industry has to offer, in addition to the most innovative projects completed within the past year.
Winners are determined by a panel of judges.  The deadline to submit nominations in all categories is April 8, 2016.
Chapter Updates: Mid-Atlantic and New England Chapters to Host Glass Shows

The Connecticut & Massachusetts Glass Dealers Associations will present the 10th GlassDay New England, Friday, April 8, 2016, from 2:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Foxwoods Resort Casino. GlassDay is New England's premier product showcase. See the newest products, learn about the latest industry trends, attend a knowledge bar, meet with your suppliers, network with your peers and see demonstrations on the tradeshow floor!

The Mid-Atlantic Glass Association will host Glass Expo 2016, April 20 from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm, in Greenbelt, Md. The annual table-top exhibit is the only glass exposition in the Washington, D.C. area and features products and information from suppliers representing architectural glass and glazing products, curtainwall and storefront systems, equipment and machinery, tools, mirrors, bath enclosures, sealants and adhesives, and more.        Read More...

Business is up across the glass industry, and as business picks up, more labor is needed to meet demand. However, glass companies from all parts of the industry have reported a current shortage of skilled labor.
