Top 50 Glaziers: 2017 Annual Report - U.S. glaziers report investments and expansions during third consecutive year of strong growth

2016 marked the third year of robust growth for U.S. glazing contractors, according to the 2017 Top 50 Glaziers annual report, Glass Magazine's annual survey of the nation's 50 largest glazing firms. Seventy-four percent of Top 50 Glaziers reported year-over-year growth from 2015 to 2016, and combined sales for all top 50 companies reached 3.79 billion.

Amid the strong market conditions, several glaziers announced expansions, either moving to larger facilities or adding locations. More than two-thirds reported notable capital investments, many in equipment to improve efficiency, allow for more complex fabrication, or to handle larger, heavier lites.

“We made significant investments in new CNC and field installation equipment to support growth and improve efficiency. In addition, we signed a new lease [on a facility] in Dallas to add fabrication capacity,” says Rick Cieslewicz, president of No. 29 Dynamic Glass,


HAGA to Host Summer Mixer Bowling Night

The Houston Area Glass Association, a division of the Texas Glass Association, will host a Summer Mixer Bowling Night on Thursday, July 13.

$25 per person includes 3 hours of bowling, shoe rental and bowling ball. Come on out after a  hard day’s work for BOWLING FUN!


Minnesota Glass Association Presents Annual Twins Baseball Outing

The Minnesota Glass Association will be hosting its annual Twins baseball outing on Wednesday, August 16. The event includes a pre-game tailgating party at 5:30pm with the game beginning at 7:10pm. Tailgating includes hot dogs, hamburgers and chips with beverages available.
