NGA Announces Additional Member Discount Available Through Friese Foundation Partnership

What Does the New Decade Hold for the Glass and Glazing Industry?

NGA asked its Annual Conference 2020 attendees what we as an industry need to pay attention to in this new decade. Here are some of the insights:   

  • The industry needs to continue progress on energy-saving advantages of glass, including triple glazing. 
  • We need to stay vigilant on development of energy efficiency codes, environmental laws and sustainability.  
  • The glazing industry needs to work to make smart glass and energy efficient glass more affordable and educate architects and building owners on their benefits.

A time where new beginnings and energy can take hold allowing us the opportunity to set goals­—quantitative and qualitative—and focus ourselves. WGA to Present Educational Dinner Meeting March 12

The Washington Glass Association (WGA) is set to present an educational dinner meeting on Thursday, March 12 at the Embassy Suites in Tukwila, Washington. The event will feature Daylighting Challenges & Advances in Smart-Tinting Glass Technologies, presented by Crystal Petersen, senior market development manager for Halio North America. WGA members receive a discount on registration. Visitors are welcome!

Mark your calendar for the Mid-Atlantic Glass Association's (MGA) Glass Expo 2020, taking place Wednesday, April 29 in Greenbelt, Maryland. The Mid-Atlantic Glass Expo in the only glass exposition in the Washington, D.C. area and includes the latest in architectural glass and glazing products, curtain wall and storefront systems, equipment and machinery, tools, mirrors, bath enclosures, sealants, adhesives, doors and hardware, software and much more.


TGA to Host Jerry Wright Memorial Golf Tournament

The Texas Glass Association (TGA) will host the 2020 Jerry Wright Memorial Golf Tournament on Thursday, April 30 at the SilverHorn Golf Club of Texas in San Antonio. Join TGA for a fun afternoon of golf and networking with glass industry peers. Advance registration is required - registration deadline is April 22.
