NGA Announces July Glass Conference as Interactive Online Event

NGA has announced the NGA Glass Conference: Chicago will shift to an interactive online event to take place July 28-30, 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic implications and many company-enforced travel restrictions, the event previously planned to occur in Northbrook, IL, will now be hosted via private online video conference using the Zoom platform.

Registration will open the week of May 18. Members and non-members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Stay tuned for more information at glass.org/event/nga-glass-conference; FAQs on the new conference format can be found HERE.

NOW and NEXT Webinar: Legal Keys to COVID-19
The next webinar in NGA's new series—NOW and NEXT: Surviving the COVID-19 Crisis—will take place Wednesday, May 13 at 2:00 p.m. ET. Legal Keys to COVID-19 will be presented by Brian K. Carroll of Sanderford & Carroll, P.C. and current Secretary/Treasurer for the American Subcontractors Association (ASA), an NGA alliance partner. Carroll will strategize ways to remedy the unique legal situations posed by COVID-19. Participants will receive guidance to address changing force majeure clauses, managing on-site conditions and updating contract terms to ensure you and your business are equipped for successful project outcomes.

WGA to Host Virtual Meeting With NGA President & CEO Nicole Harris

The Washington Glass Association (WGA) will host its first Educational Zoom Meeting, featuring a presentation by NGA president  & CEO Nicole Harris, on Thursday, May 14 at 12 Noon Pacific Time. Harris will provide an industry update and will highlight NGA benefits available to WGA members. The virtual meeting replaces the education dinner meeting originally scheduled.
