Brockway-Smith to Handle Jeld-Wen
Fiberglass Doors
Jeld-Wen Inc. has expanded its partnership with Brockway-Smith Co. to become its sole supplier of fiberglass doors. Also known as Brosco, the Andover, Mass.-based door, window and millwork distributor operates four facilities in the Northeast.

The agreement pushes Jeld-Wen’s presence on the East Coast and gives the Klamath Falls, Ore.-based company a foothold in the growing fiberglass door market.

“We’re thrilled about growing our partnership with Brosco,” says Mark Brock, Jeld-Wen executive vice president. “This represents two major forces coming together to realize the incredible opportunities in the industry by delivering the quality and style that homeowners, architects and builders are looking for today.”

“It creates an even stronger alliance between two exceptional companies,” adds Charlie Smith, Brockway-Smith president and CEO. Founded in 1890, Brockway-Smith has worked with Jeld-Wen for decades to supply wood (stile and rail), molded and custom carved doors to the Eastern region.

Jeld-Wen will offer multiple styles and designs under four distinct fiberglass door lines, as well as introduce a wide variety of brand-new designs through Brosco. Many of the new designs feature ODL glass. Jeld-Wen’s fiberglass lines include the Luxury, Architectural, Design Pro and Smooth Pro series. Exterior steel doors will round out the distributor’s new product offerings.
