Magyar Bank Holds Food Drive for MCFOODS |
|
Magyar Bank recently completed a food drive for MCFOODS, the Middlesex County organization that supplies food products to food banks and soup kitchens in the area. While the need is always high year-round, summer is particularly challenging for food banks. Children who would regularly receive breakfast and lunch at school are home during the summer months, resulting in an increase in demand for area food banks. Magyar customers and employees donated non-perishable items at each of Magyar’s Middlesex County locations.
Pictured in photo (From left to right): Standing next to some of the items that were collected during Magyar Bank’s Food Drive for MCFOODS are John S. Fitzgerald, president and CEO, Magyar Bank; Thomas Ellison, MCFOODS, and Kenneth Bland, community relations specialist, Magyar Bank. Read more |
