Clifton Savings Bank Announces Retirements of Chairman /CEO Celentano and President Celuch, Effective December 31; Paul M. Aguggia to Serve as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President

Clifton Savings Bancorp, Inc., the holding company for Clifton Savings Bank announced that John A. Celentano, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of the company and chairman of the bank, and Walter Celuch, president of the company and president and chief executive officer of the bank, have announced their retirement, effective December 31, 2013.

Paul M. Aguggia has been appointed (photo at right) chairman, chief executive officer and president of the company and the bank, effective January 1, 2014.   Read more

Fed Beige Book: National Economic Activity Continues to Expand at a Modest to Moderate Pace

Eight Districts characterized growth as moderate. Consumer spending rose in most Districts, reflecting, in part, strong demand for automobiles and housing-related goods. Lending activity was mixed. Lending standards were largely unchanged, while credit quality improved.    Read more

Columbia Bank "Teams Up" With Cathedral Kitchen's Hot Meal Program

This volunteer crew of Columbia Bank employees recently teamed up with Cathedral Kitchen to help feed poor and homeless individuals within the greater Camden area.
