October 1st is the deadline for Employers to send Notice of Coverage

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) requires employers across all segments to provide their employees with a written notice of the existence of public health insurance exchanges and eligibility for premium tax credits or cost sharing (if applicable for employer's plan), regardless of whether the exchange is operated by the state or the federal government.    Read more

Sandy Recovery Money Available to Fill Vacant Apartments

If any of your customers who own rental properties have vacant units they are unable to rent, refer them to the Landlord Incentive Program, one of the federally funded Superstorm Sandy recovery programs that can provide a landlord with a steady revenue stream for two years for an apartment leased at fair market value.

Launched by the Christie Administration to encourage property owners to fill their vacant apartments, the Landlord Incentive Program allocates $40 million in grants to provide a rental property owner with approximately the difference between 30 percent of the tenant’s monthly income and the fair market rents each month during the two year period of the program administered by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA).   Read more

Newson Appointed Area President of Wells Fargo's South Jersey Market

James Newson has been named Wells Fargo’s new community bank area president for the South Jersey market in the company’s Southern New Jersey region.  Based in Princeton, Newson assumes the role September 23 and will lead a team of 600 bankers, including five district managers covering 50 banking stores in four counties (Mercer, Burlington, Camden and Gloucester).
