NVE Bank was recently honored for outstanding community service at the New Jersey Bankers Association’s 110th Annual Conference in Marco Island, Florida.   The Englewood-based community mutual bank was awarded the 2013 Community Service Award in recognition of their dedication and participation in service initiatives that help the Bergen County communities they serve thrive and prosper. The Provident Bank Donates Tablecloths to the Monmouth County SPCA

As part of its ongoing “Commitment to Giving” initiative, The Provident’s Bank recently donated tablecloths to the Monmouth County SPCA to keep the shelter animals comfortable and warm. The Provident Bank plans to work closely with the local SPCA to host adoption days to help provide a home for pets in shelters.

 
Valley National Bank Announces Winners of the 2014 Samuel F. Riskin Memorial Award

Valley National Bank announced the five winners of the 2014 Samuel F. Riskin Memorial Award. This year’s winners will receive a $3,500 scholarship award to be used at the higher education institution of their choice.

Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia Announces New Director of Research

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia has promoted Michael Dotsey to senior vice president and director of research, reporting directly to Charles Plosser, president and CEO. He replaces Loretta Mester, who recently became president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Dotsey will lead the Economic Research Department and oversee the Payment Cards Center and Financial Statistics Department. Previously, he was a vice president and senior economic policy advisor at the Bank.
