NJBankers Announces Continuing Association with Coastal Habitat for Humanity

This year will be the capstone year. Last year, for the fourth year in a row, NJBankers worked diligently with issues arising from Superstorm Sandy. As a major component of that effort, NJBankers participated in a build program with Coastal Habitat for Humanity. In the previous four years the Bankers Build has run all summer. To date, the program has been a great success with over 50 banks from all over New Jersey providing 95 days of construction with over 800 bank volunteers doing the work. We were also able to raise $95,000 as a direct donation to Habitat as well as several individual contributions; one banker purchased all of the appliances for one house. Read More
