New Jersey Bankers Association
Senior Management Conference Combines Professional Development and Networking

The NJBankers Senior Management Conference was held at the Borgata Hotel & Casino and started with a networking opportunity Reception on the first day.

Jesse McGannon, VP of NJBankers Endorsed Service Provider Strategic Resource Management launched the educational portion of the Conference with a Sunrise Session on AI for Banking. AI is here so Jesse’s session was certainly timely!

Next, attendees were treated to more networking through the NJBankers golf tournament. Golfers enjoyed a beautiful day at the Atlantic City Country Club.  Yet another networking opportunity was our fishing excursion. What a day! Sunshine and seas contributed to a wonderful time for all. Next time, don’t forget your sunscreen!

At the next day’s Early Bird Session, Jack Vonder Heide, Founder of Technology Briefing Centers frightened us all with a presentation on the Evolving Threat Landscape: Preparing for the Inevitable. Jack noted how technology can actually facilitate “spying” from everyday devices.

The General Session began with the singing of the National Anthem and attendees were treated to a rendition by Jerald Murphy, President/CEO of NJBankers Endorsed Service Provider BITS. What a voice!

Attendees enjoyed a morning of presentations at the General Session and then an afternoon of Concurrent Sessions.

Completion of evaluations is extremely important to NJBankers for planning Conferences that are on topic and meaningful so a prize was offered with a free registration for the member and a spouse to attend our Annual Conference in San Diego next year. This is a $1,750 value!

Just take a look at some highlights and see what you missed if you didn’t attend this conference!  Read More
