Help us Tell your Bank's Story!

Since the start of this health crisis, New Jersey banks have prioritized the safety of employees and customers. Throughout the pandemic, banks have offered an array of programs to help individual and business customers affected, including fee waivers, deferred payments and other accommodations depending on the customer's circumstances.

Banks continue to do everything they can to make things a little easier right now from helping customers get financial relief and approving a record number of business PPP loans to looking out for the well-being of their communities.

It's no secret the tremendous work bankers have been doing around the clock to serve their customers and communities and keep operations flowing successfully through the uncertainty. Our industry should be very proud of our accomplishments and NJBankers would like to help you tell your banks story. We encourage you to share your story with us to get the word out on the exceptional job banks are doing during this trying time.

Please send your banks story to: Erin Attilio at esuckiel@njbankers.com.

CFPB: About 6% of Mortgage Borrowers Receiving Coronavirus Relief
Around 6% of outstanding first-lien mortgages in June 2020 were reporting zero payment due based on credit bureau data, up from essentially none in February—thus indicating some kind of coronavirus-related payment relief, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau said in a report on early effects of COVID-19 on consumer credit. As would be expected, mortgage assistance was more likely to be reported in areas correlated with health and economic effects of COVID-19, including areas with greater shares of virus cases, greater shares of minority populations and higher levels of unemployment shock.

Culture and Strategy: Is The Pandemic An Opportunity To Create Alignment?
Wednesday, September 30, 2020

Most everyone wants a profitability culture, but building one is difficult. The disruption from the pandemic has given an opportunity for banks to build strategic alignment to maximize profits that benefit all constituencies: employees, customers, shareholders and community.

Attendees of this webinars will learn how to map alignment from your UBPR to your lender, branch manager, head of deposit operations with ideas to align your culture with your strategy that you can implement immediately.
