Construction Executives Roundtable Focuses on Big Issues

If construction executives had two minutes to tell us about visions or concerns they have that are bigger than their own company or experiences, what would they say?

PEC is determined to find out and to bring this "bigger picture conversation" about business issues and what works to a special event on Saturday morning, July 8, in Boston. Building on the successful special event last year-ResPECt 2005, which featured presentation and open dialogue among owners, contractors, professional engineers in construction, and building code interpreters, this year's concept starts at the top and stays there.

The theme for the event is Expect ResPECt 2006-07 and puts the spotlight on executive thinking and collaborative, trusted conversation on major construction issues. Expect ResPECt is a roundtable discussion identified by name and the significance of their work. Then program organizers interviewed construction executives, individually, to find out what they would like to say to or hear from 29 other executives in construction. That provided the program content and indicates the agenda and structure for three hours, which will bring out the great ideas and passions for construction.

Input and planning for this high-level thinking and practical answers program continue through May. If you want to participate or be heard, contact us at info@peconstruction.org or call 703-684-2857.  Invitations are still available for construction executives in any state, as well as Massachusetts. Contact us if you want to take advantage of an affordable (free), practical, meaningful conversation at the Expect ResPECT roundtable in Boston this summer.
