Winning products will be honored with the PEI New Product Award crystal and are entitled to use the coveted PEI New Product Award logo. PEC Mourns the Loss of Nick Wright

Nick Wright, NSPE employee for almost 40 years and Director of Professional Engineers in Construction (PEC) Practice Division, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2007.  Nick began his career at NSPE following his discharge from the army in 1960.  Since retiring from NSPE in 1999, Nick was living in Montgomery Village, Maryland working as a substitute teacher. Memorial contributions in Nick Wright's name may be made to the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club. Seeking Nominations for New Faces of Professional Engineering

NSPE is seeking young, dynamic, and successful engineers to be the face of professional engineering. The New Faces of Engineering program spotlights the achievements of engineers under the age of 30. The winners will be featured in a full-page ad in USA Today during Engineers Week and on the NSPE Web site.  The deadline for submissions is November 9.
