New Consumer Purchasing Study Available Now

The new Floral Purchase Tracking Study has been released, and is packed full of substantial data regarding the purchases of flower-buying consumers.

AFE and SAF partnered together to provide this study to the floral industry, which reveals details such as types of flowers purchased, amount spent, for whom and what occasions, satisfaction levels, and more.

In addition to the study, a webinar will be held on November 8, 2017 for those who purchase the study that explains some of the key findings.

Participate in AFE's New Video Contest!

A new video contest has been launched encouraging people to showcase their love of flowers, with a grand prize of $4,000!

The 2017 #FlowerLoveVideoContest aims to inspire creative videos from anyone and everyone who loves flowers, and promotes the use and giving of fresh flowers.

We're seeking 30-60 second videos that may be skits, animation, surprise moments, musicals, testimonials, or other types of videos, as long as they feature and promote fresh flowers!

Special AFE Session on Botrytis and Thrips a Hit at Proflora

AFE had the full attention of the large crowd of growers, importers, wholesalers and retailers gathered at Proflora 2017, which was held from October 4 – 6 in Bogota, Colombia.

Thanks to Asocolflores for arranging a special education session on October 5, AFE-sponsored researchers presented reports on their latest research on Botrytis and thrips.

A crowd of about 50 people were anticipated to attend, but more than 160 industry professionals showed up.

    Meet Katelyn Stoops — former AFE Mosmiller scholar turned employee at Kent's Floral Gallery.

    The Endowment awarded University of Missouri student Katelyn Stoops with a Mosmiller Internship.

    Her 2017 summer internship was held at Kent's Floral Gallery in Columbia, Mo.
