The Denver Post is the latest news source to pick up on the Home Makeover campaign. | SAF's Home Makeover public relations campaign got ink this week in the Denver Post. "Easy Entertaining: Organizing Expert Offers Tips for Hosting Guests on the Fly" features Vicki Norris, SAF's Home Makeover spokeswoman, suggesting flowers as a sure-fire tactic to keep tidy.
"Once the shoes have been taken care of, bring in a little table and put some fresh flowers or photos of the family there to personalize the space and make it warm and inviting. The idea is to dedicate some real estate to a beautiful display," says Norris about preventing clutter in the home's entry way.
SAF worked with Norris to develop the tips and talking points for the Home Makeover public relations program. Norris is an organizational expert and author of "Restoring Order to Your Home" and a regular contributor on HGTV's "Mission: Organization."
The strategic Home Makeover campaign leverages Norris' celebrity in targeted pitching to key media. And, it's working. The media is fascinated with sharing tips from SAF's Home Makeover program. To date, the campaign has generated more than 12 million consumer impressions since its launch in April. The Home Makeover program is a direct result of the SAF Fund for Nationwide Public Relations.
