1-800-Flowers and Martha Stewart Join Forces

1-800-Flowers.com has teamed up with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc., (MSLO) to create a new floral, plant and gift basket program, available in Spring 2008, announced a Sept. 20 company press release.

"We have been working on this for quite some time," says Steve Jarmon, vice president of brand communications for 1-800-Flowers.com. "We are always looking to grow and build our business, through new product innovation and aligning ourselves with key people in the marketplace. We thought Martha would be a great partner."

The co-branded floral, plant and gift baskets, created by MSLO life style experts led by Martha Stewart, will be available exclusively at 1-800-Flowers.com. Orders will be filled by BloomNet florists or at 1-800-Flowers.com. Jarmon says he cannot yet reveal details about the contents of the baskets.

"1-800-Flowers.com is thrilled to join forces with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc., for its pioneering spirit and innovation in the world of flowers," says Monica Woo, president of consumer floral brand for 1-800-Flowers.com, in the press release.

"I am delighted that we will collaborate with 1-800-flowers.com next year," agreed Martha Stewart in the release.
