Florists' Sweetest, Boss's Day Promotions

There are holidays and there are holidays. Sweetest Day, a biggie in the mid-west, was promoted by 20 percent of florists nationwide, according to SAF's 2006 survey of retail florists. Boss's Day, which falls just prior to Sweetest Day, was promoted by 38 percent of florists. These results were about the same as results found in 2005 (21 percent promoted Sweetest Day and 35 percent promoted Boss's Day).
