Believe It or Not
Break-in Bride

Not even a locked door can stop a bride on her wedding day, as a Swedish florist recently discovered.

Online Swedish news source, "The Local," recently reported that bride-to-be Camilla Holmström had ordered her bouquet from a florist based in a mall and agreed to pick it up on the morning of her wedding. Staff at the florist had promised to open at 10 a.m., but when Holmström's friend arrived at 10:30 a.m. the shop was still closed.

By 10:45 a.m., Holmström joined her friend, and there was still no florist to be seen, but the bouquet was visible from in the window, so they decided to take action.

The bride-to-be somehow squeezed through a gap, which was reportedly 15 to 20 cm big (about 6 to 8 inches), grabbed the bouquet, and got out the same way.

"In the rush I forgot I had just been at the hairdresser's," she told reporters. "It was a good [thing] I didn't have my wedding dress on at the time."

The florist has since called Holmström and apologized, offering to compensate her for the problem.
