FTD Florists at the New York Stock Exchange

THE BELLS ARE RINGING - FTD florists rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) this morning, an opportunity that's periodically available to NYSE companies. The opportunity came up a week ago and they snatched it, "to try to spotlight the Valentine's Day holiday," says FTD's Emily Peterson. Pictured, from left: Ken Royer, Royer's Flowers and Gifts in Lebanon, Pa.; Dean Georges, Irene Hayes Wadley & Smythe Lemoult in New York City; Lawrence Leibowitz, NYSE Head of U.S. Markets & Global Technology; George Kanganis, FTD Executive Vice President of Sales; Gary Cress, James Cress Florists in Long Island, N.Y.; Christy Kanganis and George Papanicolaou, Nillson's Flower Shop in Pleasantville, N.Y.
