THE BELLS ARE RINGING - FTD florists rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) this morning, an opportunity that's periodically available to NYSE companies. The opportunity came up a week ago and they snatched it, "to try to spotlight the Valentine's Day holiday," says FTD's Emily Peterson.
