The American Floral Endowment is a not-for-profit corporation that raises and invests funds to support production and market research and education programs to benefit the floriculture industry. The Endowment has invested more than $12 million in research during the past 46 years, according to a recent press release. All trustees serve at their own expense. Eighteen scientific research projects at universities across the country will get Endowment support in fiscal year 2008.
