Executive Fired at 1-800-Flowers
The executive reportedly responsible for partnering Martha Stewart with 1-800-Flowers.com has been fired.
Monica Woo, formerly 1-800-Flowers.com's president of consumer floral brand, joined the company two years ago and is credited with partnering 1-800-Flowers with Martha Stewart along with other alliances, according to Newsday.com.
While the company confirmed Woo's departure to SAF, at press time, representatives declined to comment further.
"Beyond this, we are unable to comment on employee related matters," says Yanique Woodall, director of public relations for the company.
The company made the announcement of the new Martha Stewart line in September 2007 and officially rolled it out in April of this year.
Woodall also declined to answer questions at this time regarding whether or not the company is in the process of replacing Woo.
