Reader Feedback

Last week we asked E-Brief readers to write us about easy or seemingly "mundane" ideas that have big payoffs for a business.

Tina Rojahn Elsafy of Rojahn and Malaney Company in Milwaukee shares this idea: a couple of years ago, she started noticing significant sales increases at the yearly Christmas show she participates in with other local wholesalers.

After analyzing the increase, she says it was likely due to the fact that they started providing shopping carts for retail customers at the show. "When you get that cart, you just start throwing everything in." Since then, she has also started providing hand-held baskets for customers.
