Talk on the Forums

This week on the forums, one member gives some good advice on collecting customers' e-mail addresses for marketing campaigns. He says customers can be resistant to giving out this information, as they are afraid of being inundated with e-mails asking them to buy more flowers. The member suggests that florists ask for an e-mail address for delivery confirmation, or start a loyalty program that customers must provide their e-mail for in order to enroll. That way, the idea of giving out an e-mail address is attractive to the customer. Weigh in.
