WICT Greater Philadelphia is pleased to announce the launch of the 2008 Mentoring Program.This program is intended for both emerging and established professionals to assist in personal and professional development through a formal mentoring relationship.  The program matches selected Mentees with Mentors based on compatibility, competencies and professional development needs.  This program engages participants – both Mentors and Mentees – to participate in a journey of collaborative learning partnership.

WICT Philadelphia Mentoring Program Outline:

• The Mentoring Program runs from May 2008 – January 2009*
• Mentees/Mentors are encouraged to be in contact (in person/via email/phone) a minimum of two hours a month.
• Attend the three WICT sponsored Mentoring Program events
  • A kick off event in May
  • Mid-Point meeting in September
  • Graduation celebration in January 2009

Our Mentor list is extensive and covers many disciplines in our ever-changing industry. Mentors have volunteered from several Greater Philadelphia and Mid-Atlantic companies. Areas of professional development will include, but are not limited to:

• Customer Service
• Engineering
• Affiliate Sales and Marketing
• Business Strategy
• Business Development
• Corporate Communications
• Human Resources
