APTA joins all its members—including the Sacramento Regional Transit District (RT), which operates its festive Holiday Bus on a different route each day through Jan. 3, 2010—in wishing Passenger Transport’s readers a happy holiday season. Continuing a 17-year tradition, RT employees and their families painted the exterior of the Holiday Bus with colorful wreaths, poinsettias, ornaments, and candy canes, filling in an outline created by graphic designer Rick Sloan. Passengers ride free on the decorated bus and have an opportunity to donate cash or non-perishable food items to a local food bank.
